The first game of this season in Beaumont, Texas. The team we were going to face the Crusaders the team that beat us last year. This time we were determined to dominate. The coin toss was a loss and they picked to receive. Christian, our kicker, got us a good opening kick-off. On the kick he kicked it straight up the middle, which was perfect enough to let me get the first hit. On defense I am the captain so I got to call the plays 4-3 Blitz 2. My favorite play because I get to pretty much smash the quarterback. The whistle blew time for the play to begin. I went out to middle linebacker. ‘’Down set hut’’ the quarter back yelled as he hiked the ball. I busted through the line yelling, ‘’pass pass’’ as he was looking for a receiver. Bam! I hit him with all my might. I looked on the ground to see him crying and saying, “why me”. Not knowing the ball was loose the safety came and grabbed the ball. The offense took the ball to the inzone in under ten plays. We won the ball game by three points.
